Foxcroft School Fine Arts Mission Statement
The Foxcroft School Fine Arts program is designed to accommodate both visual and performing artists working in a wide range of media from music, theater, dance, ceramics, photography, digital design, painting, and drawing. Our teachers have developed a creative curriculum, enabling girls to materialize their visions, project their voices, find solutions to complex problems, and to think

critically about their experiences. Each course allows Foxcroft girls to develop the power to express themselves in terms of their identities and their relationship to the world around them. The department's mission is to instill in students a life-long passion for the arts that results in personal and professional endeavors within their communities and beyond their high school years. The creative world is constantly growing, with hundreds of exciting jobs available. The need for innovative thinkers and designers that can collaborate and communicate effectively is more relevant today than ever before. The rigor of our class offerings allows students to gain a rich understanding of a multitude of fine art career fields and to develop a comprehensive portfolio that will prepare them for their futures.
